Van rental with N plates

    Can somebody tell me if you can rent a Van if you've just got your Full drivers licence?! I've got N Plates on my car, so can I rent a van? I'd need to display the N plates on a hired Van?! I cant find any mention of it anywhere on the web. Cheers!

    One of the bigger problems (which may not affect you at all) is that any of the big international rental companies won't rent a van to you if you're under 27/28. What that means is that the small independent will look for around €200 per day if your younger than their specified age.

    Surprised her insurance company allowed that. Very few will allow transfers from private to commercial vehicles.
