Hi guys having issues with my iphone wifi only pulling between 45-58Mbps download and 13-18Mbps upload .

On the 240 Mbps package via direct connection with Virgin Media ?

Anyone know what the correct speed should be ?

    Any help appreciated .

Your download speed seems ok for an iPhone wifi connection. Upload seems low. Mine is c. 45 to 55 download, c. 35 upload.
The claimed Virgin speed of 240 can only be achieved via a cable attached directly to the modem. My laptop wifi connection gives similar speeds to my iPhone.

Any chance you could explain what you done to a thick. I've got 240 from Virgin and have no problems with laptops but phones are not getting the same service.
there are 8 devices in the house, so I know the speed will be down but it's just the phones, All Iphones, help.

There are 2 channels on the hub - try putting 4 on each. This should increase speeds.
Best to change the names and passwords to ones that are easier to use first, not forgetting to change the default admin password.

This is what I get on my iPhone 6. You need the latest router from Virgin. It's a white one. You need to be able to use 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz at the same time. Older black router you can only use one band at a time. Default is 2.4 you can change it to 5. But older devices won't be able to connect. 2.4 is probably why you are getting slower speeds. The 176 is the internal wifi speed.
