I'm attending a course on Saturday on Pembroke Road. The course organisers sent an email saying that there is free on-street parking on Saturdays on Burlington Road and Waterloo Road. I thought this was a bit surprising, presumed areas around here would only be free on a Saturday. Can anyone confirm?

Lots of those roads around the embassies are free at weekends.

Is there a typo here regarding the days?

Most of those roads would be free parking at the weekend, but full price during the week. https://www.dublincity.ie/sites/default/files/content//RoadsandTraffic/Parking/Documents/rt2851_07b_Parking_Zones_and_Tariffs[1].pdf

Some of the main roads may be pay parking and of course, beware the uppity residents. Check the signs and watch out for clearways.
