I am interested in getting a Smart Watch and i have been looking around at following Garmin, Suunto & Huawei. The problem is i can't decide, i have read the reviews and lot of them are mixed. I want one that tracks, sleep, counts step, checks your HR, notifications on messages, e-mail & Calls, running, tracking your distance and it has to be compatible with Android.

I can't find when the next models will be released or if they have done so already? I'm hoping someone here might have picked one up within the last few months?

I have a Fossil Q Founder for about 18 month now and love it.

It doesn't do the sleep or HR tracking but maybe newer models do? Its been rock solid and I'm impressed with ow often it gets updated by Fossil.

The main reason I'd recommend though is the after sales service. I bought it in the U.S. March 2016 but shortly after getting home, it stopped charging and eventually wouldn't boot at all. I thought 'nightmare ahead' but Fossil were excellent. They have a global warranty and put me in touch with their UK office. Through back and forth email with a very genuine support rep., I got the impression this was a very rare occurrence. They replaced it immediately and the replacement has been problem free. Really good customer care throughout.

I'm a bit of a nerd but aways frowned on wearables and really poo-pooed the iWatch when it came out. However, I use Google Fit to track steps and was fed up missing out on tracking when I wasn't carrying the phone. I hadn't word a watch in about 5 years but since getting this, it hasn't left my wrist (apart from charging overnight). I don't use half of the features but it's great for quickly screen calls, checking emails, reminders etc. even when in a different room to the phone.

I guess they'll all do more or less the same, especially if based on Android Wear, but I just really like the device and would likely go Fossil again.
