Not really a bargain as such but bought a tonne of clothes from the Marks UK site - cost me E294 (+Parcel Motel). Exact same clothes on Irish site - E411. A 28.5% discount. Why would you shop in Ireland if its cheaper online!

I noticed that yesterday. Bought a shirt on their Irish website, priced €32. Shirt arrived with a stg price tag of £17. 😡

M&S UK deliver to Ireland if you use a virtual address service like Parcel Motel.

Also to note, that during their sales, they seem to have a better selection (size and colour wise) on the UK site. I bought a few thinks that way. Very happy. Only problem was they put a mens jacket into a very large box, which would not fit in the PM locker, so I had to drive to Finglas depot to collect, plus had an extra cost for same. Still got a better deal overall, and that was before the better exchange rates.

returns are easier? and M&S Ireland often do vouchers to give upto 20% discount online which helps. A lot of older folk shop there and wouldnt use the web too.

Heard yesterday STG went 8 year all time low against EUR, this may account for some savings.

    Interesting!

Might try order from the UK site :)

Just wondering, has anyone had any success with returns from the UK site.... either within store or by post?

Thanks for the suggestion OP. I was going to buy some stuff on the Irish site but tried the UK one.

Bought around £130 worth of stuff and that's showing up on my Credit card as around €143. I priced the same on Irish site €182, so even including the €4 Parcel Motel stay, that's a great saving!

The same can be said for Monsoon. Dress 78euro.. or £48. The conversion rates just don't add up

Only issue is if you order multiple items, there's no guarantee they'll arrive in one parcel.
Also, extra cost for delivery of large items (e.g. Boots).

If do a large item use Parcelwizzard, they have bigger allowances and you can get it delivered home or for pickup in a parcel shop.
