Is pre-science hard? Anyone who did it and got accepted to college please comment your experience!💗How many hours in a day is a prescience course, and how many places in DCU, maynooth, UCD , TCD and NUIG are reserved for plc people?And is prescience competitive like nursing?

DCU Common Entry Science - 60 places in 2016, and anything from 10-30 on other specialist science streams

Maynooth Common Entry Science - "up to 10" (2017) with a couple extra on specialist science degree streams

UCD Common E. Science - 30 in 2017

TCD Science - "It is expected that there will be up to 10 places on TR071 for students presenting QQI qualifications."

NUIG CE Science - 12 places


Edit: Just found a list of places allocated for FET route in Nursing in a thread further down page.

There are certainly a lot more places available through this route in Science, and (I suspect) a lot fewer looking for them.
