    Hi,

    I friend is looking for advice on the purchase of a new laptop or desktop.
    And as I havn't any gaming experience I was hoping somebody on here could
    help out

    Budget is tight so essentially the question is how much should he expect to be
    spending in order for his family to have a reasonable experience playing games
    e.g. call of duty, heartstone, world of war craft, mine craft, and runescape?

    What is the minimum he looking for in terms of graphics card, RAM and CPU

    The computer would also be used for school work but I guess anything that
    can play the games will also be fine with any school work.
