We're playing in the Social Media Links tournament tomorrow.

Day 1 Rosses Point, Day 2 Carne and Day 3 Enniscrone. Played it in 2015 and was very impressed how it was run and the value of the stay and play etc.

Anyone else playing it this year?

I will be playing for the 2nd year in a row. There was somebody else on the Links thread who said they were playing also.

Looks like a wet one tomorrow though.

Yeah tomorrow looks like a tough day. Get through that without killing yourself and try score well the next two.

    That's the plan.

played in it a couple of years ago. good craic but painfully slow. played last hole of last day in enniscrone as 8 ball as it was so dark. great value but needed to be out early each day. 5 hours plus per round.

    I played that year too.

That last day was slow alright as course was mad busy and our tee times were very late. They sorted it out for last year and this year too. We tee off earlier on all days and the final day is Saturday rather than Sunday (extra day off before work helps).

I've been in Enniscrone all week. Supposed to be a washout. After half a wet day on Monday we got not much more than a few showers here and there. Unfortunately as much golf that I've gotten has been dinner in the clubhouse :(
There is an Open on tomorrow but we are heading home so I better not risk it or I might find myself getting left behind and having to walk back to Dublin.

Sounds like a good tournament surprised I never heard of it until now given its name would be interested in playing next year.
