Lots of racing tomorrow with the main focus being Yorkshire and Day 1 of the Ebor meeting. Have gone for a few Thesme in the first at York was racing off as high as 109 and placed in listed class now down to 100 and most significantly has Frankie in the saddle who can hopefully do his magic get the fractions right and be there or there about at the finish 11/1 ew. The second I like is Oceane in the 2nd last at York, won this contest last year off 87 when on an upward curve. Races off 94 tomorrow so will need career best. In its favour cd form, still only 5yr old with a first time visor applied so let's hope King can eek out further improvement.14/1 ew. Last one I like is red roman in the finale, a 2yr old handicap so least confident of the 3 at York but won class 2 at goodwood lto with plenty previous winners in behind so up to this level grade though as I said, my least confident selection 14/1 ew. Over at Kempton hopefully Phalaborwa can follow up it's last win at 4/1. Thats my four darts tomorrow for small ew stakes
    GL tomorrow

I really fancy Finion Fox in the 1:35 at Carlisle, Rachel Richardson on board, most expensive horse in the race and has to be improved from its first outing.

    Backed at 9/1

Can't understand why Aussie Valentine is so big at Killarney at 10/1. Quite liked it

Cracksman and Golden Horn come from the same source.

Cracksman: Rhadegunda > St Radedund > On The House > Lora > Courtessa
    Golden Horn: Flech D'Or > Nuryana > Loralane > Lora > Courtessa
    Female line: dam > 2nd dam > 3rd dam > 4th dam > 5th dam

    On pedigreequery.com
Lora (b 1972) was sold as a yearling for 28,000 guineas.
    She ran 7 times and was unplaced:11th, 20th, 14th, 7th, 8th, 11th, 13th.
Her "good" placings were when there were few runners in the race.
Timeform 1975 annual gave her no rating "big, rangy, attractive filly", "is of little account as a racemare".

I notice many good horses trace on the dam line to Courtessa:
Habibti (IRE); Commands (AUS); Danewin (AUS); Kaapstad (NZ); Octagonal (NZ).
