Stop end - do I need an olive?

    Can anyone tell me if I'm fitting a stop end to the the coupler where the tap would be disconnected do I need to use the olive supplied

    Where you screw off the hose, screw on a blank cap

    But he has a stopend, not a blank cap. :)

    Blank caps fits on to the fitting, stopends go onto the pipe that already has a nut and cone (olive), so remove fitting too.

    Thanks for the clarification. I'll go and get a blank cap as the taps will be need to be reconnected a few days afterwards and this seems more straightforward than removing the existing fitting to attach the stop end.

    Why not fit 2 Isolating Valve's or 2 Leaver valves now, so if you have to service taps in future you'll only have to turn them off.

    Looking to do that alright when new sink/taps go in
