The Forge Lane ,Lusk Co dublin

    Looking into buying a house in the forge lusk. The house is facing the main road. Can u hear the traffic badly going past. Also are they planing on building anymore houses across from the forge.

    No idea on the noise.
    You can see any planning permission applied/approved here.
    The area directly across from Forge Lane is currently zoned Rural, just to the left of this (by the Dublin Road Roundabout) is zoned Open Space so both of these areas are "safe". There is a triangular wedge to the right which is zoned as Residential and part of this is already being built on.

    I live in the forge, not facing the main road but not too far from it either. Can't really notice the cars on it, except for the lads from RCC (car modification place near the train station) who use it as a drag strip every now and again. Honestly though, never been an issue for us.
