    First ever post!
    I have a load of dewalt tools from usa all in perfect order but the charger a dcb112 is wrecked and wont charge past 1st light.
    My queation is to anyone who might know if I buy a dewalt 18v dcb115, will it charge a dewalt 20v dcb203 battery or will it **** it up??
    Tia I'm totally lost

    You are not chancing it m8, it will be fine.The 20 Volt was just Dewalts marketing nonsense for the Yanks. The batteries have approx 20V on standby and 18V on load so the Americans 20V batteries are exactly the same battery as the Europeans 18v ones.

    Excellent thank you very much for the info. I found a place not far that have them for 40 quid. So I'll be on their doorstep bright and early
