Do i need any visa travelling to Switzerland?

    Hi im an irish born citizen and i am travelling to las vegas via zurich switzerland and am wondering do i need any visa?
    I thought switzerland was in eu?

    Thanks for reply. Thank god or i would be screwed, it threw me off when i googled eu countries but switzerland wasnt in group.
