Grass seed

As theres loads of different types of grass seed can anyone recommend one? I dont have much of a area to cover so dont mind spending a bit more than normal for a good quality one. Also Im a bit of a golf nut and was thinking of maybe laying the same grass as on the putting greens in my club out my back would this be a bad…
