(Realistic) Dublin Based Musicians Looking to make a Genuine Stab at it

Hi Guys - posting again after a few weeks.

Genuinely had so much interest in the last post (which was fantastic) and have a few great musicians on board so just looking to get one final squeeze to see who we can get on board. Sorry to anyone I didn't write back to last time (If you're reading this) I was lost in a sea of messages!! haha!

I'm a 28 yo guy and I've been working in the music industry with a major record label in Dublin for a while now so I know the ins and outs of how to go about things, should the music be good enough. I've also been priveliged enough to have gained some pretty good contacts over the last while too from working in the business.

I'm looking to Collaborate with any musicians in the area that are looking to make a genuine stab at being an original band with a view of gigging, promoting and writing an EP/LP. I'd love to hear from singers (Female/Male and all else in between), people with experience of using samples and or/synths, guitarists. ANY other instruments would also be fantastic. I play guitar, SOME keys, and love messing around with sounds and beats in the likes of Logic and Ableton.

Ideally you'd have more modern tastes in music. I wouldn't be too keen on forming just a straight forward 'rock band' heavily reliant on guitar. Not looking to become a pop band, by any means - but being tuned into what works these days and modern sounds etc., is always a plus.

My own tastes are extremely broad.....lately I'm liking London Grammar, Calvin Harris' new album sounds good, Coldplay, The National, Foals, Future Islands, Bon Iver, Everything Everything's last album ...I could genuinely go on and on and on.

So any musicians that have an inclination towards integrating elements of electro, electronic beats, guitars and whatever the hell else we can get our hands on, PM me and I'd love to have a chat. Even if you're currently writing and want to have someone to write with/collaborate with let me know.

If nothing comes of it, no harm - nothing to lose from trying!

    Thanks a million
