I've entered the realms of old velos and am on the look out for the following: 100mm quill stem and suitable road bars to match - 42cm. No fussy on diameter of bars. Anyone got anything suitable or can point me in the right direction for parts? I've eBay searched and numerous parts watched, so any other tips welcome. Also, recommendations for suitable 1 inch threaded headsets - new or 2nd hand.

I definitely have what you are looking for, in fact I have a choice, I have itm stem and bars and cinelli stem and bars and I have a 3ttt cockpit as well. Only thing is I am on holiday at the minute and won't be back till the weekend. Can send you pictures then....

Inch headsets are a different story. Steel ones are easy enough to come by but alloy ones are difficult enough. What are you looking for? Shimano or campag?

    Have a look at http://www.velo-orange.com/

Fresh Tripe in the UK sell their kit too but it can be a little more expensive.

Word of warning, I had terrible trouble with Fresh Tripe when ordering a set of Velo Orange handlebars, took months to arrive with little to no communication. I would steer clear.

Planet X have a good stock of old/NOS things like handlebars and quill stems.

Have Cinelli Criteriums if they're of any use.

Likewise i have cinelli criterium handlebars and a 3T stem for sale up on adverts (and a dura ace 7400 seatpost). Seems to be no end of parts available.

Gutted to see a record headset for sale after me literally just buying one on Wiggle!
