TV3's Tonight Show and Newtalk Drive

It looks like TV3's Tonight programme will be presented by Ivan Yeats and Matt Copper. Initial details suggested they will both co-present two nights a week and then each present one night alone.

Pat Kenny will continue to present an extra Wednesday Night edition with a live studio audience. I say an extra night because the show is named Pat Kenny Tonight, which is not much different to Tonight with Pat Kenny!

What's the obsession with Yeats and Communicorp presenters?

And why leak the idea of a female presenter when you have no intention of getting a female presenter.

As for Yeats, why not go with other former politicians such as Mary O'Rourke or Nora Owen. I pick both as they aren't to different to Yeats politically. Plenty of different presenters out there, with the same views.
