What printer cartridges would go with this? How cheap can you get them?

Is this a good price for this? Haven't purchased this type of item before.

Toner cartridges aren't cheap, but you'll be more likely to get the advertised number of pages out of one than you would out of an inkjet cartridge, especially if you use it infrequently and the printer goes through many cleaning cycles.

I had inkjet printers for years and must have spent a small fortune on ink in that time, so recently I ditched inkjet in favour of a colour laser. This is the one I got ...

.. and 6 months later it's not even half way through it's installation toner cartridges (they play the same trick as inkjet printer manufacturers in that regard). It always starts in a few seconds from deep standby without all that incessant whirring and clunking that you get from inkjets when they haven't been used for a few weeks.

I swear by pantums Wifi laser printer here. Great price and includes a toner. Toners themselves is 50 euro alone and last over 700 pages. Pretty easy to set up too.

Now that I think about it is there any dongle you can use to convert a printer like this to be wireless?

    yeah

    Something like that

and most of the routers (Vodafone for sure) can be used as well.

Wish there was a cheaper method of making mine wifi. Like a 5 euro dongle or something like that. A man can dream!

As others have said, many routers allow you to attach USB printers to them and make them available over the network, both wired and wireless, to any computer, tablet or phone connected to that network.

For the small bit extra I would go for the wireless version. Putting it anywhere is so useful as well as printing from mobiles, either through the router or wifi direct.
Toners are cheap as well. I purchased this one and it's going well.

Yes it's definitely the next best option for sure. Will have to try with my Eir router when it arrives and hope for the best.

I got this one recently, and I got a set of generic toners for about 40 euro on amazon.
