Beko dishwasher trips switch

    Hi,

Noticed that the Beko Slimline Dishwasher was still full of water at the end of a cycle. I cleaned the filter, and nothing changed. Partner then went to pull the dishwasher out, and as he did, it tripped a switch, causing the dishwasher & fridge to turn off.

I emptied the remainder of the water out by disconnecting the hose. Now when I try to turn the dishwasher on, it lights up as if its on, but theres only a faint hum and nothing else. When I turn it off, it trips the switch almost immediately.

Any ideas what could be wrong? Would it be a pump?

if the d/w doesn't empty the emptying pump is clogged and needs to be dismantled and whatever is clogging it removed, with the tripping most likely water has got into the electrics when it was being moved, just dry out the components with a hairdryer

Sometimes you can clear the dishwasher pump from above. Have a look at this video, for bosch. There are a few other videos out there that explain the same thing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfw3vliCf4c
