Whereabouts in the country are you?

If you look out for local agricultural shows, they usually have a dog show, and also look out for local rescues, if they have a fun day arranged.

Is she IKC registered? The best thing would probably be to find local ring craft classes, then you'll meet up with other people who show their dogs, and pick up tips on how to stand the dog in the ring etc.

The Roscommon agri show was on a few days ago and had mixed breed classes going from what I read on facebook. I assume any agri show near you will have a similar set up to get more people going. Perhaps one of the judges could point you in the right direction locally on routes of progression?

Must keep an eye out for them coming up but would they not be just a summer thing or are they all year long

There is nothing really in between Agri and charity shows and the ikc shows.

As far as I can see winners are picked based on the dogs temperament and how well behaved they are at the charity/Agri shows. Of course a child at the other end of the lead helps too.

The IKC shows are a different league and based on confirmation. You would need ring craft classes to learn how to show off the dog at it's best. To enter ikc shows the dog needs to be registered. This is done by the breeder at birth, you can't register a dog yourself later. Not all pups are show quality. If you want to show you really need to be buying a pup for the purpose.

Did your pup not come with her own papers? Only the breeder can register her, so you could contact them and ask them to do that.
