Same here Basq. Can I gift the cards to myself do you know? Also it says that I must have received an invitation on Amazon.co.uk for the offer so that might be another trap....think I'll let this one go.

The promo credit doesn't show up on your gift card balance, only when you go checkout can you see it. I think it's because it only lasts until end of Oct.

I have nothing in regards to any promotion when I click the link. I'm guessing I'm not eligible for anything!

I don't see any promos after clicking on OP's link.. :(

    I got £9 for £55 voucher.

I was about to spend £220 on an item, so i just bought 4x£55 gift vouchers and will get £36 in promo vouchers. I confirmed with Amazon that I can use the gift cards for myself, and the full £36 promo voucher can be used in full as part of this transaction, or a separate purchase in full. I thought they might limit it to one promo code per purchase. :)

£5 but had to buy £80 credit. Strange because last night i was offered £13 for £80 credit. Dont know what changed.

Kind of strange that everyone is being offered different amounts

    Are you sure about this?

I just chatted with Amazon and I was informed that the promotion will work only once.

It was clarified through chat for me that I would get one promo voucher for £9 per £55 gift bought. It was was clarified twice, and I even provided a link to the Amazon Deal I was buying (£220). He clarified I would have a total of £256 to spend, but the promo vouchers had to be used against goods sold/fulfilled by Amazon themselves. I got the transcript emailed also and just had a look again at it there....looks like I might be getting in to a complaint if this is not honoured....

I just read the Ts&Cs on the webpage and it says "One Promo Code per customer/primary e-mail address."

Best of luck to you, Amazon are usually good to sort out any problems 😃

You'll be grand if you have any problems, but anyone who buys multiples without having a chat representative saying they'll be honoured won't be as lucky!

Hmmmm... I bought a Gift Card and sent it to myself but I immediately applied the gift card balance.

When I get the bonus credit, presumably it's going to be applied to my existing gift card balance.

So since I need to spend the bonus credit in the next month and a half, I can only assume I'll now need to spend all of it in the next month and a half presumably? D'oh!

Was just looking at buying a tablet at £83 so with the £13 bonus with £75 gift voucher - nice little bargain for something that was a good bargain already!! Thanks OP

I think you'll only see the bonus credit when you go to buy something, it will be a tick box option like when your given the choice to use your account balance credit in the payment section during checkout.

Ah, that'd be handy. Rather that than be lumped in with the £75 I just gifted myself! :D

    I got the following message:
Get an extra £5 when you Top Up £100 or more

Thank you for your interest in Top Up.
Unfortunately, you are not eligible for this offer.

You can still Top Up and use your balance to shop for millions of items on Amazon.co.uk. You can now also set up Auto Top Up, with the option of scheduling a Top Up on a regular frequency, or adding funds automatically when your balance drops below an amount of your choice.

Can anyone confirm if this worked twice as I am still being offered the deal on my amazon account despite already receiving the bonus credit.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,020 ✭✭✭123654789

For anyone wondering when/where to see the bonus credit.

I ordered Tuesday night, the gift voucher was emailed to me straight away

I got an email 24 hours later (literally to the minute! ) with the subject Benefit Confirmation for your Order 123456XXXXXX . It confirmed the bonus and that it had to be used by 22 October:
Thank you for purchasing from Amazon.co.uk.

Your recent order 12345..... entitles you to a promotional reward which we have added to your account. This reward can be applied to your next qualifying purchase.

About ordering twice - the offer is showing still for me too but the t+c's on the email say One Promo Code per customer/primary e-mail address. So not gonna chance it.

Ordered mine at 3.35 yesterday and got my voucher at 3.36 today. That bloody minute was nerve racking! :)

    I have 4 Amazon accounts...

    2 got nothing
    1 had £5 when I buy £35
    1 had £9 when you buy £55

Nice to have a choice.. thanks OP :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 990 ✭✭✭cefh17

Thanks OP, got £13 from £75 gift cards. Sent it to the wrong amazon account, not the one that got the credit but they were quick to help swap it to the correct account. Now to buy sh*t I don't need :)

Edit - Am I right in thinking you don't get any notification of the promotion bonus until it's added, the 24h later?

    Well 24 hours or 24 hours + 1 minute later :D:D

No, i tried a dummy order with my new gift card and there was no bonus credit

Cool thanks, I did just the required amount for the gift card but had no pop up saying I'd get the credit, so just a waiting game now

Yeah, click the link in the OP. I got offered €13 for a €75 gift voucher. If you just see the option to buy gift vouchers your not eligible for the offer.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,076 ✭✭✭✭mrcheez

I wonder if you open a new account do you get any of the offers?

    4 accounts ain't enough!
