We had an aqualisa basic mixer valve shower, gravity fed, for 15 years. Doing up the house we replaced it with a grohe 800 thermostat mixer shower.
There's a huge difference in the power between the 2. In fairness the plumber said there would be but I didn't think it would be as big as it was.

Is this due to the fact that there's a thermostat in the new one, the smaller head, or just different brands?
