    Hi all,

I bought a standard pir sensor light to fit out the back.

I unwound the electrical tape from the wiring left by the builders and there are 2 brown wires?

I undid the single socket switch on the kitchen wall and one brown wire is going to common and the other brown is going to L1.

The PIR only has live , neutral and earth.

I'm now confused as to where to put the live brown or the switched brown ?

    Thanks for reading.
