So I was going to maybe go buy a new laptop for my daughter around the 400 euro price range.
She wants to play sims4 and roblox and other stuff.
Said I'd go on adverts and see if I could nab something better second hand.

    Came across this Alienware.

I presume this will play sims Better than anything I could buy for 400 quid

Is this still a good laptop?
Will I get another few years out of it for general use browsing and kids games and Sims.
I'm not paying 650 for it but if I got it near 400 I'd be tempted.

I wouldn't spend five hundred on a machine that old to be honest

Back in 2013 that was my work laptop. Its a monster(size and weight wise) and complete overkill for running sims4. Its a desktop replacement and few people use them on their laps, instead opting to use it on a desk.

That seller is having a laugh.
    Includes charger worth $80

Er no. If it didn't come with a charger, you would have to shell out 80 quid to buy a charger. That does not make the charger itself worth 80 quid.
    Will swap for a macbook or a Smart TV + a PS4

    :pac:

OP, you will get a brand new laptop in Currys for 300 which will play the Sims and Roblox.

Yea I know I can get a laptop for 400 that would run sims.
What I was trying to figure out was , would the the laptop I linked still be a better machine?
I presume the screen would be better and it would still be more powerful and a better machine than what I could buy new now for the same price.

And if I wanted to play some games myself and connect to the t.v it would be better than a 400 euro laptop I could buy now.

Anyway I have moved on now :-)
