Outlook 2016 won't connect to incoming server

    I had this problem...my email is eircom.net...my broadband is supplied by SKY Ireland...and I use Outlook 2016.

    It stopped being able to receive emails but could still send emails.

    Chatting with Microsoft & eir.ie got nowhere (but patient people...)

    Found the solution here on boards.

    RESET THE SKY ROUTER.
