Hi guys, I'm staying in Citywest Hotel in Saggart next weekend. I want to travel to Tallaght Shopping Centre using Public Transport but have no idea how to get there. Can anyone advise me.
    Thanks.

    Luas is the easiest way.
Walk out of the hotel and to your left will be the station. You need to change at Kilnamangh (i think) as you will be going city bound and change onto a tallaght bound tram

Luas from Saggart to Belgard. Change trams. Get a Luas heading to Tallaght.

Shouldn't take more than half an hour.

As above but you need to change at Belgard.

Walk 5 -8 mins go past citywest center luas stop and cross the road at the roundabout and just to the left you will find bus stop 4960 you can get a 77A and be in the square in 10-12 minutes.

    No changing of luas required

77A is definitely the best option.

The OP is staying at the Citywest Hotel - why send them on a longer walk and a magical mystery tour of Killinarden when the LUAS ride is closer?

Changing trams at Belgard isn't that difficult.

Exactly. The walk from the hotel to the bus stop passes 3 luas stops. Then the 77a goes around the houses before it gets to the square. Doesn't make any sense to go that way imo.

The walk out of the hotel and down to the 77a stop is actually about 15 minutes brisk walk alone but if I guess if time isn't an option, either route will do.

Changing Luas is a doddle and they're more regular than the bus.

The bus goes through killinarden in a few minutes no magical mystery tour there

It's still a much longer walk and I frankly wouldn't be sending people around that loop when the LUAS offers a much easier connection.

    It's also far cheaper on the LUAS - €1.39 -v- €2.05 on LEAP & €2 v €2.70 cash
