    Hi,

So, I'm an Indian national and recently married an Irish guy. I'm currently on a Third Level Graduate Scheme Visa (Stamp 1G) which expires in October 2017. We live in Waterford City and I have an appointment booked at the regional Immigration office here for 4th September. This is to transfer to a Stamp 4.
Could someone help me with information regarding how long this process is going to take? I am hoping that it won't take too long and that I don't run out of time and have to leave the country.

    Thanks in advance

Okay, thanks. I do hope that is the case.
My current Visa expires in October, so if they haven't decided it by then won't I have to leave?

Also, we have an Indian wedding planned for the 3rd week of November (just a ceremony) and everything has already been arranged for. So I will definitely have to leave then.
