Pulled out this old girl, would like to get her working again, we've got 2 problems
    1. The coils spring bracket is busted - whats the best way round this?..new part if available, weld it possibly?
2.The front leg and disc are missing.Have tried Westlake parts in UK, but no answer, could plough work without it?
The plough hasnt been used in years its pretty old, but metal is good on it.
Maybe its only fit to be scrapped?
    Cheers

Are you sure the front leg is missing?

You will get away with only having a disc on the back for stubbles.

Try to find out what number bodies are on it and keep an eye on ebay/donedeal for parts. Can you copy the spring bracket that's there?

add on donedeal with what your looking for is the best way I think.

Its incredible of what parts lads have stored in the back of sheds which they will never now use because the machine is long since gone.

Cheers lads, all a help., tried Evans a while back, didn't give a hoot about my plight!
The plough will be used in lea ground, so i guess the front disc would be required?
    Ta again

Disk and bracket looks just like the ones on the square beam Kvernaland ploughs from the 70's and 80's.

Keep a watch on Ebay.co.uk, you can set up an alert for example "Bamford Plough" or whatever.

I just got two brand new mole plough bullets delivered from England, for an old Ransomes trailed mole plough. Only 20 Sterling for a courier, so its not wildly expensive to get parts sent over.
