Different lighting zones in large room?

I am doing an extension with a large kitchen-dining room. I'd like pre-set lighting zones, controlled by app (with manual override of course). My contractor nor his electrician know nothing about this stuff.
Is it expensive and does anybody know an electrician in the Munster area who does it?

Philips hue is a good option.

The home automation forum has good options here.

You'd get the Philips switches , wire your switches in permanently on and let the app or Philips switches or get the Philips tap do the rest , it will tie your lamps in too.
