Vodafone Fibre - improved ping times?

    Hi,

    I noticed my router rebooted last night at about 10pm. When it re-synced the downstream it was sinking at was 15MB compared to 48 previously.

    This morning I noticed it rebooted itself overnight and things are back to the way they are except there are improved ping times - previously I would have been getting 24Ms not it is 8ms. I'm on a rate adaptive profile and only noticed the lower ping times when my profile was fixed.

    Anyone else noticed the same?

    I think ED E meant G.INP which is vectoring/a form of vectoring?

    Its a standard of its own, basically trade a little latency for increased stability.
