    Does anyone have any details? Round times? Entry fee? Prizemoney? Time Limits? Who is playing ?

    Good questions. I think the only way to get details/enter is to phone Andrew Thomson. That is what I had to do two years ago. And after I won they never got the trophy to me.

    Maybe Eamon Keogh had more luck when he won it last year. (I couldn't defend the title because of my daughter's wedding.)

    I won't be playing anyway. I think the new ICU Seniors tournament in the New Year is the one to support and let the Drogheda one fade away...

    It would be a pity to lose the veterans championship after seventeen years. I think it would be better supported if it was advertised better and if the playing details were available online. Perhaps the Internet hasn't reached Drogheda yet?

    Since the Veterans tournament in Drogheda has been cancelled why not incorporate it with either the City of Dublin or the St Andrews tournament in the same way that the Leinster Senior became part of the Malahide tournament?

    I hear they are thinking of including this in their Drogheda Congress in June.
