24/7 Public toilets between Cork and Dublin

I'll be driving to Dublin airport later this week and one of my passengers suffers with IBS and I need to know what places and Motorway service areas I could stop should there be a need to. The journey will be between 3 and 6:30am.

    So far I know:

Amber Petrol Station, Junction 14, Fermoy, but I don't think 24/7 toilets.

Topaz and McDonalds, Junction 8, Cashel

Junction 14 on the M7 Mayfield outside Monasterevin.

My advice to the person suffering with the ISB was to catch the train and stay overnight but hotel prices in Dublin are just such an absolute ripoff now that its a non runner for the person to pay €200+ for around 8hrs or less in a room.

I never knew about this place and it appears to be open 2 years already, and I'd be driving to Dublin several times per year.

Aircoach and GoBE coaches would also be an option, they have toilets. Not very big ones, but would do the job. Operate late and drop you at the door of the airport, so no need for hotel in Dublin.

GOBE unfortunately don't start early enough, but Aircoach would.

You are right, I forgot that. Aircoach would be the better option in terms of toilets anyway. The toilet on most of their coaches are floor level (rather then sunken) and quiet large and bright. Best I've ever seen on a coach, not far off the train.

I don't think all the Aircoach ones are all that, they are good compared to what a lot of coaches have in Ireland over the years, but I've been on some dedicated touring (non service work) Setras such as the 431DT in Germany which are better still .

    Topaz Junction 7 Kill/Straffan on N7.

Note it's located on the Westbound (outbound) side, so you would have to come off at Exit 6, cross over the N7, enter back onto the N7 Westbound and go off again at J7 - however J6 and J7 are very close to each other. Going back towards the airport you can go straight onto the N7 Eastbound, no messing about.

Have you looked into bed and breakfasts near the airport? Might be cheaper than hotels.
