Hey, I had an accident in France last month. The driver is claiming full responsibility, I'm finding it difficult to get a solicitor in France that speaks English, has anyone any experience on this?

My Irish solicitor is representing me from this side, but she is also having difficulty locating an English speaking French solicitor and according to French law, it has to be a French solicitor on their side, thanks in advance, if anyone has any suggestions, a PM would also be appreciated,

    Thanks.

The Irish or British embassies (preferable) or consulates (less preferable - it might be an honorary consulate) might have lists. But have any suggestion vetted for suitability.
it has to be a French solicitor on their side
Do you mean on your side?

Ask the Irish Embassy in France to recommend an english speaking lawyer to assist you.

thanks a lot, I hope that my solicitor can get what she needs. It should be straightforward, but nothing is as easy as it seems :)

You could try the French property/ lifestyle magazines. The property ads often highlight English speaking local legal firms and the like. A few emails to these estate agents may result in a lead to an appropriate solicitor.
