    Hey guys,

So I'm looking for a laptop to use with lightroom, and for general laptopy use. I currently have a 5ish year old Asus Zenbook UZ32a. Reliable machine, poor screen and battery life was never much better than 3-4 hours which was not ideal.

    Requirements:
RAM: 16GB is ideal (8GB is fine if I can upgrade)
SSD: 512GB or space for more than one drive m2 + sata
Screen: Portability is good, so slim is a priority. I would use up to a 15" screen in a slim body.
1080p at a minimum, but I would be tempted by 4k.
CPU: i5 U processor is fine
    Budget: below €1000

So in an ideal world I'd be buying a top spec Macbook Pro 13 with oodles of RAM and storage. Then as a second place runner an XPS15. But really I can't stretch to either.

    This machine is tempting:

High res QHD+ screen. 8GB of RAM, but with a free RAM slot to upgrade to whatever I wish. 256GB M.2 SSD, but it has a free full 2.5" SATA slot available to add to. Battery life seems reasonable and I'm happy with the brand.

My main reservations are that it is quite an old school looking laptop, huge screen bezels. And I'm not sure about the quality of that high res screen.

So what else is there to consider? Any other ideas? Or is the above reasonable?
