Social welfare cut off due to no public services card?

Hi Guys My sister went into the post office to collect her JSA payment this morning to be told that it had been cut off - she went to the social welfare office who said the only reason they could think of was that it was because she didn't have the new public services card. She had an appointment booked in the last month…

Hi Guys

My sister went into the post office to collect her JSA payment this morning to be told that it had been cut off - she went to the social welfare office who said the only reason they could think of was that it was because she didn't have the new public services card. She had an appointment booked in the last month but missed it as when she logged in to check the date, the apt had been wiped off the system. She has never fraudulently claimed anything so she's perplexed and panicked as to why this has happened. Anyone else hear of this happening?
