    Hi all,

I'm looking for a recommendation for a campsite in europe for 2018.

Our eldest is nearly 19 so next summer (June) it will myself, my wife and our then 13 year old son.

He is a bit too old for the Falcon type holidays as the kids on those we find are too young. However, if anyone has ideas for a package type that caters for teenagers, we would love to hear.

We were thinking of a campsite in europe that caters for teenagers and, especially, if they have football activities. Happy teenager = happy parents!

France, Spain and Italy would be main choices but will consider anywhere that is reasonably successful. We would most likely fly and rent a car rather than driving from Ireland.

    Thanks!!!

    :D

I'm in the same boat with my lads, similar age and similar interests

I spent ages looking for places with an astro so they could play football all day, but they are few & far between

Last year we went to Kos, place had a really good astro and football program daily but was too hot

Its hard to find a balance

This year my lads just said they want to go away and take a break from football and try something else.

Places I have been over the last few years that might interest you

    Camping Bella Italia
    Sanguli

Bella Italia is great for water activities. Sanguli I think they were too old, the astro was mainly dominated by 8-14yr olds

Look for somewhere that has an onsite water park...with lots of slides etc

Has anyone been to playa montroig or playa de barra? It's so hard to know with teenagers

    Thanks Lex.

Bella Italia has been mentioned to me but apparently wifi is shocking and reviews are that it has gone a little downhill.

Imagine wifi being so important on a holiday but that seems to be the case now!!

I couldn't fault it and if reports are that it has gone downhill, it must have been very special at its peak

From what I was told its just busier than it used to be due to its popularity

But take your point on the wifi, its very bad and it can have an impact but I was glad in a way their heads weren't stuck in a phone for the 2 weeks

Playa Montroig is on the other side of Cambrils village to Sanguli Campsite

Nice area along there and you have the Portaventura park for the lads to keep them busy for a few days

Hi. I'm just wondering for Bella Italia, are there any companies who offer package holidays or do you have to buy your flight separately?
If you fly to Verona, are transfers easy to get?
