    Sounds like the notorious Baldy Paddy from Bray the Moore family, think they live up in Deer park but might be in Fassaroe by now.

    I really despair for some of the very sick people in this country. Horrible thing to do to an animal. Hopefully whoever did it will be caught and put down. Poor owner coming across this also.

    Read this earlier

    Went out on Friday only to return home later that day and find the Dog decapitated.
    Next day (Saturday), the head turns up at the back door!

    Other dog left alone though.
    Dead dog was a Chihuahua

    One of two things happened here.
    Dog was barking all day for months and a Neighbor got fed up...
    OR
    A bigger animal killed it, big Cat or Fox.

    Either way it's very sad.
    Chihuahua's are to small a dog to be left outside on their own for any period of time, what was he thinking.

    My first thought was this was a message to the dog owner but then I realised it was a poor little Chihuahua.

    Scummy murderers whoever did it but tiny dogs like that should not be left outside either.

    I dunno... I've seen a beagle do something similar to a Jack Russell terrier.

    Some of the clickbait media love these kinds of stories. Remember that story a few years ago on The journal, about a horse being choked, forced to swallow vodka, and then burned alive. Then the more reliable media said "actually, it was dead already and it was an amateur attempt at cremating it".

    As you can see from the reactions to this thread, cruelty to animals gets people really fired up. I'm not saying this didn't happen exactly as the owner or the article says it did, but it is awfully good for site traffic.

    In fairness, I'd judge him a lot less than the 'hard men' who keep muscle dogs. I'd say he has a lot more self-respect than them.

    They are a quiet couple living in the locality for a good few years. Very inoffensive lads and do a fair bit of voluntary work in the community. Tidy towns, GAA that kind of thing.
    However for as long as I can remember their lives have been made hell by some young scrotes and this seems to be a continuation of that.

    I really hope the Gaurds get to the bottom of this as there is a lot of local anger as a result of this.

    Racism is now hiding behind the cloak of Community activism.
