    OK, not strictly "Smart Home", but certinally smart thinking.

    Why is this genius not available in a UK socket?



    I'd probably change nearly every socket in the house if they were.

    It isn't just the different shape, the concept wouldn't work with a UK socket.

    You could have a UK socket with lights integrated in it, but it would require replacing the complete socket, not just the cover.

    I'd be ok with replacing the complete socket. I was going to replace them all with metal ones anyway.

    Btw the red neons on MK sockets nearly light a room on their own.
