    hi all

my sons friend has a really old carlsbro PA amplifier head
with 4 inputs, he also has two small combo amps, 10w guitar, 15w bass

he wants to try hook up the carlsbro head to the combos
so he can use the reverb on the carlsbro
can he just go out of the carlsbro into the input of the combos?
essentially using the combos as his "cabs"
or will he blow them up (or himself)
can he plug 4 different instruments into the carlsbro
and output them all through his combos?
is there power match issues ohms etc etc
ive only ever used combos and am not technical

this is the best i can find on the PA head, its ancient!

    thanks!

It's a 'no' to the amp into the guitar input of the combo.

You'll need to connect the speaker out on the amp to the actual speaker of the combo with a speaker cable, not a guitar cable. Depending on its design, this could mean soldering, attaching clips, or perhaps the combo has a speaker jack that can be unplugged from the combo and plugged into the amp's speaker out.
