we have a 2010 C4 Picasso, with the 1.6 diesel engine and semi-automatic (if that's the right term) and are looking to upgrade.

We like the new style C4 seven seater, but want to get the 2.0l diesel engine if possible

any reviews of the 2.0l diesel engine I've read are positive - but does anyone here have any knowledge and experience of a 2.0l (manual or automatic)?

    thanks

I think it's just a revised version of the same 2.0 litre engine in your current C4. The new model is supposed to be superior to your current one. Most for sale here are 1.6 though.

2.0 is another incarnation of the excellent DW10 engine. Used in Fords, Peugeots, Citroens, Volvo etc. Fear not, IMHO best ~2.0 diesel.

Automatic used with the 2.0 HDi is the Aisin AWF6F45, a six speed torque converter box. Good smooth transmission, very efficient and years ahead the robotic box you have now. Be sure to change the oil around the 80000km mark, and then each 50000km in it.
