Ok guys My Xperia is on the way out, charge isnt lasting, nobody can hear me when Im talking and Its overheating all the time

So I need a replacement the following things are what I need

    A good processor
    A decent amount of Ram
    A reasonably fast phone
    reliable and durable

I dont care about cameras, or apps, or usb c or any cutting edge things..I dont use apps except for Whatsapp, Chrome,Google Maps and a basic Chess App, I dont use anything else

Ideally id like to go as cheap as possible , so help me out please :)

Plenty of reading in here for you. Most mid range phones now have good specs and seeing as a camera is not a deal breaker for you, there is plenty to choose from.

My suggestion would be any of the moto g range

    I second a Moto.
    Moto G5 / G5 Plus / G5S / G5S Plus
Buy direct from Amazon .co.uk/.de/.es/.fr/.it whichever is cheapest.

I have the G5 Plus dual SIM from amazon.de and can recommend it.

I have my Z2 on adverts at present as I got the new Sony XZ Premium on upgrade, and what an upgrade it is. Pure tech porn the phone is, absolute stunner and performance is excellent.

All i have heard is positivie reports and reviews on the xz premium, seems to be a cracking device. Most likely out of the OP's price range.

I was considering the xz premium, but I soon realised I dont use any of the features on the current Z2 I have even, so it doesnt really make sense to buy a flagship model, when all I need is something fast, with a good processor and decent amount of RAM

I was watching a video of the g5 plus vs pixel...there was little between them in terms of speed :)

I was looking to the G5 Plus tbh, just wondering is it best to hold out for the G5S Plus? :)

Well the G5S should in theory have a better camera front 8MP with LED and back with dual.
Screen has increased from 5.2 to 5.5"

You might see price drops for the G5 soon.
If price is a factor then this is an aspect to consider.
