Ongoing rescue on lough ree

    Hi all

    Living on the coast of lough ree here half way between athlone and lanesborough... rescue helicopter has been active here with search lights for over an hour here since 3am monday 14th august 2017.... nothing in the media yet... could be training but i doubt it.... anyone heard anything?
