New laptop - Q's on BB dongle/favourites etc.

Previously my laptop was powering up but the screen display was blank. I vacuumed the fan and it seemed to work for a few years. Now it's acting up again - the screen is blank but the machine powers up but if I turn off & on a few times it works. I have transferred my files to a new laptop - just in case but -
    (1) I use a Vodafone dongle for broadband but the new laptop connects to this mobile WiFi without the need to connect the wire. Do I need to password protect my WiFi to prevent others using it - and how do I do it?
    (2) How do I transfer my favourites to the new laptop without copying & pasting each site address?
    (3) The new laptop says that Windows 7 copy isn't genuine and MS Office product key not activated? I don't have a key for it but is it easy enough to replace hard drive from the old laptop to new - as the old one has genuine Windows/MS etc.
    Any help welcome. Thanks!

Not entirely sure about this but if the dongle is capable of transmitting a WiFi signal then it should be setup with a password. Did you have to enter a password when you first connected with the new laptop?

If you are using Chrome you can sync your bookmarks across devices by using your Google account.

Where did you get the 'new' laptop. Sounds dodgy to have a non-genuine version of Windows.

Thanks. I sorted the WiFi password.
I'm using Chrome so I will sync bookmarks.
The 'new' laptop was bought 2nd hand last year. Is it possible to purchase a reasonably-priced version of Windows and MS Office? Or would it work to replace the hard drive in the 'new' laptop with the one from the old laptop (as this has genuine Windows & MS Office.
    Thanks
