Edit I meant to put danish my bad

He's not Swedish. He's Danish. Your rush to post a link to a news story and no other insight led you to misread/miswrite

    Ok

Mod: Updated the title there to reflect that he's Danish rather than Swedish.

Also yeah, that does sound like a mad story. Was he crewing the sub on his own?

A mutilated torso has now turned up after he's admitted she died on his submarine and he "buried" her at sea. This story is completely insane.

Really last I read they found nothing on the submarine when they got it back to land.when did he say he buried her at sea

His story was always a bit fishy

    That was reported yesterday

Would imagine given the location the body was found, that it's likely to be her. Very creepy stuff

He must be a right psycho and that poor lovely young female reporter ended up paying for his instability with her life. I wonder what it was she find out that drove him to kill her or did he try something else like having sex with her maybe. She should have had someone else with her maybe a camera man night have saved her from dying.
I thing he should get life in prison for what he did.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

The torso has been identified as that of the missing journalist. Such a creepy story.

Such a sad & tragic story.

Brilliant genius inventor, designs & builds & captains privately built submarine...

    Then blows everything, for what?

We'll probably never know what really happened, but maybe he made a move on her & she rejected him? so he hit her, then panicked, chopped her up & jettisoned the body parts through the torpedo tubes, who knows?

    Her poor boyfriend.

This is a crazy crazy story. What a cretin. His account stinks.

Poor girl, by all accounts she was a talented young journalist. RIP.

Looks more and more like his explanations were his worst inventions...

Is he an inventor that is Danish or did he invent the Danish?

It sounds like he's just a bit of a nutjob.

A lot of people with that level of intelligence and focus, tend to be more than a bit eccentric. Arrogant too.

I'm not sure at what point he thought, "I buried her at sea" was going to be a cogent explanation. Maybe if you were on a sailboat several thousand km from shore. But on a submarine a couple of KM from the coast, to think that "buried at sea" was going to be satisfactory gives some insight into the mind of the man.

Probably a bit of a Steve Jobs - very clever but completely arrogant and sociopathic.

A lot of crap 'jokes' and an inability to tell Danes from Swedes here.

Sick individual. The story is just creepy and awful. Not just to kill her but to lie and lie and then treat her with such disrespect and send her home in pieces to her family....disgusting. he should be on murder charges manslaughter doesn't seem harsh enough for what he did....
Poor girl RIP and I hope her family find the strength they will need to somehow deal with this.

Not even then. Not unless you have witnesses. And not without using a radio.

You preserve the body as best as you can. For the family. And because it's the best proof nothing bad happened. Look at the case of Thomas Howell who kept Thomas Griffith's body in the Smalls Lighthouse for three weeks while trapped by bad weather.

Exactly you don't chop them up and dump them at sea , especially been they were on a short trip

Danish Norman Bates looks like a cross between Daniel Craig & Jeremy Renner. Hope he spends the rest of his days in the clink.

Jaysus - evil geniuses just aren't what they used to be. How in the name of god do you expect to get away with killing the only other person, a journalist no less, on your fúcking submarine!

The most shocking part of this story is the stupidity involved!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 558 ✭✭✭Biggest lickspittle on boardz

Well this story just gets sicker and sicker. The autopsy of Kim Wall revealed that she had been stabbed 15 times. Furthermore, investigators found decapitation and murder videos on Madsen's computer.

I think just about the only thing that could describe this case now is GUBU: Grotesque, Unbelievable, Bizarre, Unprecedented.

She never should have been on that submarine with him by herself should have had a camera man or another journalist preferably male with her. No journalist should interview a person by themselves especially if they are female unless they are in a safe place or know the person.
This poor women died because she thought she was meeting an inventor but he turned out to be an evil psycho killer with sick videos on his computer and killed her. I hope they throw him into a dark damp cell full of rats and throw away the key because thats what he deserves.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.
