Hi,

I've had A/V systems through out the last 10 years but just budget systems.

I'm moving house next year and am looking for some recommendations and help.
I'll probably be changing the TV as well when the time comes but my main questions are to do with speaker choice and placement.

I've attached a file below I hope you can see it.
My Budget for Speakers and Amp I guess but would be around 1K but could go over that if needs be.

I want to put TV on the end wall (not over the fireplace) So thats 5.2m From the window to the backwall.
I'd really prefer to go with gloss white speakers for aesthetics.
I would prefer the speakers to be a similar size to the q accoustics 2010  ones.
From looking at the drawing could you also recommend where to put them.  I'm also playing with the idea of atmos as now is the time to do it when the house is being built.  If you could recommend placement for them as well.

Will probably have a corner sofa sort of thing.  With my preferred seating position with my back to the window.

I hope all that makes sense.

So, after doing some of my own research
I've been told that the q acoustics 2010 and different versions of it are a bit to chunky for a sitting room.
Instead to have a look at the
Monitor Audio Mass or the Q acoustics 7000i
Also could you recommend a atmos amp as well.  Dont really want any fancy features as it will be connected all up to a HTPC I'd like it to have atmos though
I'm thinking Ill go atmos as well could you recommend some in ceiling speakers that are discrete and say under 200 euros for 2.

Hi Psygnosis.

The Q7000i speakers are fantastic speaker and sound very well for their size.
Currently priced at £889.00
http://www.richersounds.ie/p-202407-white-318168.aspx

The Mass 5.1 is also another excellent speaker pack coming in at £599 but only in the black finish.
http://www.richersounds.ie/p-200190-mass-51.aspx

For an Atoms amp to could look at the NEW Denon AVRX2400 priced at £499 - I could offer this at £449
http://www.richersounds.ie/p-13044-avrx2400.aspx

Pioneer have released the VSX932 also priced at £499.00 - I could also offer this for £449.00
https://www.richersounds.com/product/av-receivers/pioneer/vsx932/pion-vsx-932-blk

In-ceiling speakers, we use the Monitor Audio Pro 65 in our demo room for our Atmos system and run them off of the above listed AVRX2400.
Currently priced at £69.00 each - I could offer these at £60 each. £120 for the pair.
http://www.monitoraudio.co.uk/products/pro-ic/pro-65

There is also the Monitor Audio C165 priced at £105 each - I could offer these at £90 each = £180.00
http://www.richersounds.ie/p-11974-ct165.aspx

Let me know your thoughts.
