My elderly neighbour has offered my other half a few days work to tidy up his garden.
It's quite overgrown and a lot of the bushes and trees are nearly falling over on to the main road.
Is now a good time to cut everything back or will it kill growth on some the trees/bushes? Or should he wait until Spring?
There's lots of different trees and bushes.

If the person wants it done and your OH wants the work, then do it. Most plants will recover enough before the end of the season or pick up next year. Some flowering plants may lose next years flowers but will come back the following year.
