Try micksgarage. Can be quite cheap for certain items but not always cheapest.
Halfords is good if you know anyone with a trade card. They often have promos on oil and their own brand oil is good.

It all depends on what your after really. For servicing items if your getting a full workout for the car they can sometimes cut a deal or throw in something to sweeten it. You can haggle with some motor factors :).

    Tried 4 different motor factors
Cheapest was €13 in the difference
    Thanks for helping

Might as well point out that often you don't get a like-for-like comparison on certain parts. Most people would be "I need a drop link for a Golf" but there are huge differences in quality between brands.

Example. My 10 year old Civic was on its factory droplinks till last year. I replaced them with cheap ones as I had the NCT booked and forgot. They need replacing already.

How'd you know if they're on the way out? Don't think mine have ever got done.

Previous owner has receipts for everything done and went into great detail.

Southside Motor Factors on Kylemore road are usually my first port of call, huge stock and open late through the week and even open Sunday afternoons. I've used Mick's Garage a couple of times but you're waiting days for delivery or collection.
