    Hi,
I'm from the Philippines and married to an Irishman.
We live abroad and plan to move back one day. I already work as a carer but don't have any qualification which is recognised by the HSE.

I want to do the Fetac QQI Healthcare Major Award. Because I'm abroad I have to do this via distance learning with the open college.
There are several modules I can choose from whilst some are mandatory.

Regarding the optional modules, I'm hoping people who have already done this can advise me as to which modules they took, or which modules they would recommend?

    Many thanks in advance.

There's a facebook group which can help. Just search for it.
Meanwhile, I'd recommend the Palliative Care and Care of the Older Person Modules.
