Marty Whelan and Colm Hayes famously returned to 2fm in the 00s after 20 years and Anton savage and Brian McColl once returned to Today fm having been involved in the radio Ireland days years earlier, So who in the future could you see returning to their former station ? Here is what I think, RTE Radio 1 = Pat Kenny, could see him getting a weekend slot on radio 1 to live out his twilight years, 2fm = Al Porter, to replace breakfast republic. Today Fm = Tom Dunne. If Dempsey were to leave and if they weren't sure what to do with breakfast, I could see them giving it to Tom Dunne for a while.

    Adrian Kennedy back to FM104.

Can't see where Dempsey would go, don't see RTE splashing cash out now when they are putting on the poor mouth and losing €20 million a year.
