Just want to be aware of all eventualities.

I've one repeat exam to do this thursday. I think I should pass it put I want to know what happens if I fail it.

Its a first year exam, second semester module. I've passed everything else, most subjects comfortably.

If I was to fail, do I have to repeat that module only? and will I have to pay the full repeat fee of 1800, if I'm only present for half the year?

You should talk to your department or module head about this, they'd know.
As far as I'm aware you'd have to repeat first year again, they might make an exception but it's not likely. You will have to pay the full repeat fee.
That being said they could look for reasons to bring you up to a pass if you are near it.
Like how you comfortably passed the other modules, it's obvious this is not your strong suit.
